Master of Science in Computer Science

Mercy University's 30-credit M.S. in Computer Science equips students with cutting edge knowledge and tools to solve data science and software development problems. The program starts by providing fundamental computer science theories that make skilled practice possible.

Students in the program are able to choose from a specialization in data science or software development. The data science track focuses on analyzing data and solving problems using the scientific method. The software development track allows students to create user-focused programs, apps, games and more.

Master of Science in Cybersecurity

Mercy University's 30-credit Cybersecurity, M.S. program prepares students with the technical and analytical skills to secure digital media, to defend cyber infrastructure, and become high-tech cyber professionals. There are nearly 300,000 open cybersecurity jobs in the United States, a rapidly growing field in need of talented students.

Students from the Mercy University program are recruited to the National Security Agency (NSA) and the federal and local governments, financial and medical industries, and leading IT companies. The Mercy Cybersecurity Program is designated as one of the Centers for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security.
