Bloomberg Lab

The Department of Finance and Risk Engineering’s Bloomberg Lab is located in the FRE Office. The lab is equipped with 10 Bloomberg Terminals that provide access to Bloomberg’s platform used by the world’s leading financial institutions to allow students access to real-time market data and tools to support learning objectives and provide real-world experience.

Students are required to complete the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification (BMC), an 8-hour self-paced e-learning course, as part of the MS curriculum (course FRE-GY 5500).

Note: The lab is open to MSFE students only.

The lab is open Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 5 pm.
