Welcome to Brooklyn
Take advantage of everything our dynamic area has to offer.
NYU Tandon is perfectly situated in an incredible hub of innovation — what started as the Tech Triangle has burgeoned into an entire Innovation Coastline.
Nicknamed “the borough of neighborhoods” for its many diverse and distinctive enclaves, you’ll find that Brooklyn is a unique and exciting place that lends itself to endless exploring. Our neighborhood is a vibrant area with tons of great options for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Stroll along the waterfront for spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline, feast at one of the delectable food markets, stop into an art gallery, and walk across the famous Brooklyn Bridge.
Just across the East River is Manhattan, the Big Apple. A few minutes away by subway, you can shop (or window shop!) at some of the world’s most notorious stores, visit a world-class museum, sing along at a headline concert, indulge at spectacular restaurants, walk around some of the many famous neighborhoods, or relax in one of the city’s spectacular parks.
