The Tandon Experience
Here at NYU Tandon, our strength lies with our students and their lives extend beyond the classroom door. The Office of Student Life and Services provides endless opportunities to get involved, whether through student leadership opportunities, community service, or one of our dozens of clubs or activities.
And because the line between classroom and life is often blurry, especially when it comes to putting engineering into practice and building toward the future you want, we launched the Experiential Learning Center to help you navigate the wide range of hands-on learning experiences, research possibilities, and career-readiness opportunities available to you here.
Regardless of your interests, your aim for the future, or where you come from, Tandon is the kind of place where you feel welcome and appreciated for who you are. We know that diverse, inclusive, and equitable environments foster creativity, personal growth, and academic excellence.
And while Tandon is home to people of many different backgrounds, areas of expertise, and ways of working, what we all have in common is an uncommon willingness to leverage those differences to make real progress in major areas that matter. Just one example: we’re tackling climate change in a multidisciplinary way, because we believe that all engineering should be sustainable engineering.
