For Alumni and Friends

Gifts made during your reunion year provide crucial support to the School of Engineering. Milestone reunions, such as your 25th, 40th and 50th anniversary of graduation, are opportunities to reflect on how Poly helped prepare you for your professional career. Traditionally, reunion gifts support the Polytechnic Fund, but your class may decide to support a specific initiative within the school that has special meaning to you and your classmates.

Gifts to the annual fund provide immediate support to the Institute. By directing your gift to the annual fund to either the Polytechnic Fund, unrestricted funding that supports programs and facilities across the Institute, or the Promise Scholarship Fund, the School of Engineering's largest scholarship initiative, you are making a positive impact on the lives of former, current and future students.

Annual gifts are essential to the financial health of a university, providing discretionary funding to support core Institute needs. By making your contribution, you are supporting the entire Polytechnic community.

Since its founding, the Young Alumni Leadership Circle (YALC) has grown from 30 to 500 members, with Polytechnic alumni becoming increasingly involved since the affiliation with NYU.

The Circle’s mission is:

• To recognize graduates from the last 15 years who make annual gifts that set the standard for other young alumni
• To create an opportunity for young alumni from the School of Engineering's and entire NYU community to network, socialize and build relationships with other leaders
• To develop NYU Tandon’s and NYU’s future leaders

Graduates from the last 0–5 years..........Gifts of $500 and above
Graduates from the last 6–10 years........Gifts of $1,000 and above
Graduates from the last 11–15 years......Gifts of $2,500 and above

As a member of YALC, you are afforded exclusive access to your alma mater. By giving back to the School of Engineering, you will receive invitations to special NYU events that will bring you face-to-face with prominent leaders from the University and businesses, as well as leading policy influencers and public servants.

Members at the Patron level contribute annually to NYU Tandon and are able to direct their gift as desired.
