Entrepreneurship
Under the umbrella of the Institute for Invention, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, NYU Tandon's entrepreneurship initiatives are bridging engineering research, education, and innovation.
As problem-solvers, engineers are inherently innovators. Even if you never plan to start a company, understanding best practices for inventiveness, creativity, and entrepreneurial and design thinking can be valuable for your life and career.
NYU Tandon offers a range of resources to help faculty and students bring new ideas to life — and to market, if that’s the goal — from educational opportunities to ideation support to incubation, including networking, funding opportunities, and space and equipment.
NYU Tandon integrates innovation and entrepreneurship into our academic culture and advances student and faculty skills through a wide range of activities including:
Education
Entrepreneurship education is integrated throughout the NYU Tandon experience. Whether through experiential learning opportunities or programs like the Engineering Innovation Minor, students acquire knowledge and experience in entrepreneurial thinking.
