How to Defer, Withdraw, or Swap

Deferral/Withdrawal Policy + FAQ

Bridge students are able to defer their enrollment to a future semester, withdraw their enrollment, or swap program durations by submitting the "Defer/Withdraw/Swap" Form by the given deadlines. The link to the Defer/Withdraw/Swap form can be found on your Application Status page and the deadlines are provided above.

Swap + FAQ

Students enrolled in a Bridge course with both 17-week and 24-week durations can swap from the 17-week to 24-week course (or vice-versa) for up to two weeks after the first exam. The Swap deadline for your specific Bridge course is provided in the Academic Calendar above.

Retaking Bridge + FAQ

If the defer/withdrawal deadline for your course has passed, and you are interested in retaking the Bridge Program in a future term, you may choose to do so. Students who are currently enrolled and wish to take the course must

1) Submit the withdrawal form found on your Applicant Status page to become eligible to re-apply.
2) Re-apply by submitting a Bridge Application by the deadline for the course you wish to retake.
