Rick Scot is a member of the Global Information Security (GIS) Cyber Crime Protection Advisory Services team. He is responsible for partner integration, risk and business control management and cyber-crime research. He sits on the strategic advisory board for the New York University Cyber Fellowship, and the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, College of Computing and Informatics.
Prior to his role with Cyber Crime Protection he helped build the GIS Workforce Strategy, he supported the Cyber Public Policy team and served as Program Manager for the Independent Assessment team, where he designed playbooks and remediation processes, along with creating a system of record and the Payment Card Industry (PCI) governance transformation. He also holds one patent and has one pending. Before coming to GIS in 2016, Rick spent four years as a Functional Architect within the home loans and servicing transformation, leading the data, document and imaging work. Since joining the bank in 2002 as a Senior Business Analyst, Rick has held several positions within Mortgage Technology, including supporting online operations, third party operations, internal lead management, and several data transformations including the Countrywide transition.
Rick got his start in technology building out training and quality assurance programs and implementing several call centers for The Walt Disney Company. He also spent time managing client digital innovation as a Senior Manager for Blue Hammock, a predecessor of Global Consultants Inc.
Rick studied Communications at the University of Southern California.
