Professor Anthony Clarke has demonstrated technical expertise and active leadership at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department since August 2012.  In addition, Clarke has an active role in corporate Engineering leadership and management at several commercial, military, and aerospace companies, including BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, Zodiac Aerospace, and others.

With twenty years of experience in academia and corporate, Clarke finds common ground where both sectors can benefit. He created an internship process between Stevens Institute of Technology and Goodrich Actuation Systems, and, as Chief Technology Officer at Vandguarde Consulting, he created a vehicle in which students can develop intellectual property while partnering with private sector stakeholders. 

Clarke completed his undergraduate and advanced degrees from University at Buffalo and Binghamton University, respectively. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Lockheed Martin Leadership Development Program.
