Arezoo holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tehran (2006), and master’s and doctoral degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Buffalo (2010 and 2015, respectively.)
Her research involves size-dependent fluid mechanics theory and the numerical analysis of size-dependent continuum mechanics, among other topics, and her goal is to use computational methods to bridge the fields of biology, biomedicine and engineering, so that the knowledge gained can be used directly in practical applications.
Prior to earning her new title, she was a Visiting Associate Professor in Tandon’s Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. She has also lectured at the University of Buffalo and worked in industry as an HVAC design engineer.
