Dean of NYU Tandon Jelena Kovačević shared insights on the growing importance of interdisciplinary education and collaborations across engineering, including on 6G, AI, and cybersecurity, building on the conversation she had as a panelist at the Brooklyn 6G Summit hosted by NYU WIRELESS this month: “All of these things are showing that education itself is kind of looking outwards and exploding, as opposed to being a siloed, traditional one engineering discipline at a time.”
