New York eyes technologies for buildings’ emissions compliance
With a landmark law limiting greenhouse gases, New York City is changing its building codes to make room for novel tech from four companies. Two of them — WexEnergy, and Zinc8 Energy Solutions, are current members of the Urban Future Lab at NYU Tandon. A third, Radiator Labs, is a graduate. The city, in an announcement to formally be made Tuesday, also will consider offering technical support and “prioritized assistance” to help the technologies gain traction in the market.
