NYU Motorsports

  • A dynamic team of engineers, creators, and leaders who design and build the best off-road vehicles in NYC to compete against other universities.

Connect

A car riding on the dirt and a few people standing next to it

The goal of NYU Motorsports is the bring together a group of creative and curious individuals to design and build the best off-road racing machine. The design of the vehicle incorporates a combination of fundamental engineering theories, student experiences, as well as advanced concepts geared specifically towards automotive engineering. In addition to engineering, we also have a dedicated operations team whose goal is to make our presence known to the school, other competitors, and corporations. They aim to maintain our strong social media platform, connect with other SAE teams, and help shed some light on the automotive engineering happening in New York.
